HPCUMC Preschool Wellness Policy
Handwashing is an important part of our day, but somehow those germs still manage to spread around the classroom. Please keep children home if they have one or more of the following symptoms:
-Elevated temperature* (100.4 degrees or more, axillary)
*When children have had a fever, they should be kept home another 24 hours with no fever before sending them back to school.
-Skin rash -Vomiting -Diarrhea -Evidence of lice -Severe coughing -Unusually sore throat or difficulty swallowing -Dark urine/gray or white stool -Yellowish skin or eyes -Conjunctivitis -Stiff neck -Difficult or rapid breathing
-Two or more of the following symptoms:
Cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, GI Issues (nausea and vomiting)
